Between 20 October 43 and 14 June 44, in the South West Pacific Theater of Operations, 1,383 Missing Air Crew Reports were filed by the 13th USAAF involving B-24 Bombers alone. Many others were filed for a variety of aircraft types. The link below leads to a compilation of B-24 (H) MACRs which is by no means all-inclusive.
Only those MACRs filed on dates Leo Carter was in the air are included and the two highlighted in yellow are the only reports for the 5th Bombardment Group (Heavy) to which he was assigned.
